Classes

If you have been interested in learning to appliqué, this class is for you.  You will start with the essential equipment and supplies and move on to fabrics, stabilizers and embellishing.  You will be exploring hand appliqué, machine appliqué, raw edge and turned edge appliqué, reverse appliqué and, if we have time, Hawaiian appliqué.  Come and join Lynette for this exciting and multi-faceted class.

Are you trepidatious about bargello?  Does the thought of all those tiny pieces make you nervous?  This is the class for you!  Bargello creates lovely curved designs using varying widths of strips.  In this class we will cover fabric selection, making strip sets, cutting and aligning strips and putting it all together.  You will see there is no need to be afraid of this technique.

This dynamic quilt is achieved with the use of bold rich colors and varying the shades of each fabric.  It creates the illusion of a blossoming poinsettia.  This wall hanging or lap quilt will look stunning for the holidays.  Start working on the quilt this fall to finish in time for the holidays.
