Have you been wanting to create a portrait of your pet but are unsure how or where to begin? Join Susan in learning how to create your own pet portrait. Using a simple technique that anyone can learn, you will create a pattern that will then be used to make a portrait of your pet. You don't need drawing or computer skills. Thursday, October 15th will be your orientation from 10:00-12:00. Please bring your supply list, a pencil and paper for taking notes. Some homework will be required for the first two classes.
Using this simple technique, Susan has been creating pet portraits for clients and family for the past 10 years. Her work has won numerous awards nationally and internationally, as well as having her work juried into the Houston International Quilt Festival. She was honored to have two of her award winning pieces chosen to be included in a "Best in Canada" Quilt exhibit displayed at The New England Quilt Museum in 2023. Recently, Quiltfolk magazine chose one of Susan's cat portraits to be included in their special edition on cats and quilting.
