Meet up with fellow creative beginner sewists at Linnea’s sewing club! We will sew for the fun of it and make simple seasonal projects suitable for gifting or keeping. Learn new skills while making easy projects with interesting variations in a relaxed environment.
If you have taken Linnea’s Adult Learn to Sew class or you are confident using your sewing machine and have good basic sewing skills, you are good to go! (Note that this class is not suitable for absolute beginners – please register for Linnea’s Adult Learn to Sew class instead to get started). A reliable sewing machine with a walking foot (available for most models of sewing machine at Johnson’s) and a zipper foot, a rotary cutter, mat and quilting ruler will be required for some projects.

This month’s sewing club features a lovely patchwork tote bag made from a charm pack - a collection of pre-cut fabric squares. Fully lined and no quilting involved. You will use your rotary cutter and mat in this class. A super cute spring accessory and a great first patchwork project!
