Quilt Making Basics

This class is designed for the absolute beginner quilter! Start with color theory, quilt terminology and basic rotary cutting. Proceed to making your first quilt blocks, from simple straight piecing to half-square and quarter-square triangle combinations. Watch in awe as your first quilt top comes together!
The first class is about color theory, quilt terminology and selecting your fabrics and supplies. A 15% class discount is given on all supplies purchased at Quilter's Dream.
The second to final classes require that you bring your own sewing machine to class.
Location: North Location
In this class you will learn the basic piecing techniques as you construct blocks using squares and triangles. These blocks can then be made into a wall hanging or lap quilt. In the first class we will talk about the supplies and discuss the fabric requirements and assist you in the selection of fabrics and supplies. You will not need your sewing machines in the first class
